About Sam:

I grew up in Southport always wanting a dog of my own. I moved to London for most of my adult life, and this is where my passion to work with, and own dogs, was fulfilled. I changed my career from working in marketing and IT for a large firm of accountants, and followed my heart, bringing me back to the North West, to work with animals.
I have always been passionate about dogs. This passion has lead me to attend many training and behaviour courses run by the leading UK trainers and behaviourists: Gwen Bailey, Ian Dunbar, John Rogerson, Turid Ruggas being the main ones and also explains why I share my home with 4 dogs!


I have volunteered for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, having their dogs stay with me while they where undergoing training. I have also helped many dogs through my volunteer work with Labrador Rescue.

Unfortunately most dogs are rehomed due to lack of early puppy training, which is why taking your new puppy to a Puppy School class, where only kind reward based methods are used and class sizes are small will get you and your new puppy off to the best start possible.


Qualifications and Accreditations

In addition to my practical experience, I am a qualified Puppy School Tutor. I continue to train in the science of animal learning and modern training techniques with Gwen Bailey
