My name is Jason Cohen and I am a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist.

Wherever I go, dogs meet me. It started as early as when I was 9 years old living in Israel, one by one these dogs were following me and I had a pack of local strays.

More recently, I was lucky to have a very spirited rescue dog I named Cheddar. As he grew up he started exhibiting signs of leash aggression. After approaching a few different trainers and working with Cheddar myself, I was inspired to help other dogs and their owners.

I started by volunteering with Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue after adopting my current dog Karma from them. I realized that helping humans and dogs communicate better is the best way to saving these amazing dogs lives, I decided being a Dog Trainer is the path for me.

This brought me to the largest and most comprehensive dog training school in the world, Starmark Academy, where I graduated from the Canine Training and Behavior Specialist Program.

I more than just love dogs. I apply the best training techniques to motivate your dog, inspire you as a dog owner and help foster a better relationship between you both.

I am Veteran of the US Army, a Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and Associate Member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
