Welcome to ProgDog: taking the stress and the unknown out of dog ownership. We offer fun one to one training for dogs and owners.

I love dogs! It is as simple as that. I love all animals, but dogs completely steal my heart! From my very first Labrador, to my most recent rescued Brittany; I remain in awe of the abilities that dogs have!

Luckily I get to share my passion for dog training everyday as a dog trainer by helping my clients learn to achieve a lifetime of fun, laughter, pride and success with their dogs.

Combining my experience and passion of training with my love of dogs, my work experiences range from:
• Working within a dog rescue centre,
• Working as an advanced clicker trainer of dogs and cats for force-free specialist veterinary procedures,
• Working with assistance dogs in advanced training for people with disabilities and;
• Currently as a pet sitter and supply trainer for the world renowned TV trainer stars, Jo-Rosie Haffenden and Nando Brown. This includes preparing and training their dogs for specific TV work and demonstrations.

With theoretical and practical accredited qualifications in Canine Behaviour and Training (Alpha Education, Clever Dog Company), I was handpicked by the world famous Clinical Animal Behaviourist and trainer, Sarah Whitehead (BA, MSc) to become a proud member of her Licensed Trainers team under her Clever Dog Company Method.

I am also proud to be a qualified Real Dog Yoga Instructor through The School of Canine Science.

Having been taught directly by Sarah Whitehead and Stella Bagshaw (the ‘Clicker Queen’), as well as by leading experts in behaviour and training, Jo-Rosie Haffenden and Nando Brown, my knowledge and experience will help you become an expert and stress free dog owner.

Being dedicated to continuously building on my skills (you don’t know what you don’t know!), I am a full professional member of Sarah Whitehead‘s Inner Circle (the UK‘s only online mentoring and Continued Professional Development platform that brings together, educates and supports trainers, behaviourists and canine professionals), as well as a regular attendee of workshops, conferences and seminars provided by the country’s leading trainers and behaviourists.

I only use kind, progressive, force and fear free methods that will not only help you communicate expertly with your dog but will build a partnership that you can be proud of! I believe that we can all learn, dogs included, at whatever stage of life we are at and that training does not have to be daunting, difficult or stressful!
