Link Kennels

Link Greyhound Racing Kennels

The story began when Tom Heilbron's parents bought him a Louis Saha pup as a Christmas present 7 years ago. Little did he know that this dog would change his life. The dog was reared until tragedy struck when the dog was almost crippled in a race. After being told by vets the dog would not walk again never mind race, Tom and his family progressed and attempted to give the dog another chance, with a lot of hard work the dog was nursed back to glory. Setting the record for the most re-graded handicap wins in a row at Wheatley Hill Greyhound Stadium (Record Still Standing Now), the story was brought to the attention of the public and the success of the dog helped him win the Local Hero award presented by the Northern Echo, he is not living a happy life of luxury on the couch!

Tom progressed into working with greyhounds more and more both on the independent circuit, licensed racing, schooling puppies and breeding litters.
