Royal Police Dogs (RPD) specializes in strong, social police dogs. Our state-of-the-art training facility is located in Crawfordville, Florida, just 20 minutes south of Florida’s Capital, Tallahassee. We have over 6000 square feet of indoor training space and 6 acres of outdoor training fields to prepare and train our world class working dogs.

Our dogs are hand selected directly from the KNPV clubs of The Netherlands by our partner and friend, Marcel Aalders, of Montferland K-9 Services. With over 20 years of experience in training, titling, breeding, and decoying in the KNPV, we have a unique partnership that guarantees a constant flow of the highest quality K-9s from The Netherlands to our kennel here in Florida. Through this partnership we have created a network with some of the best KNPV breeders, trainers, and decoys who make sure we get the very best police service prospects available.

At Royal Police Dogs we believe in quality over quantity, and just as we have developed personal relationships with those from whom we purchase our dogs in The Netherlands, we strongly believe in developing and maintaining close personal relationships with our customers. We have been extremely fortunate to be invited to train with some of Florida’s finest police K-9 departments.

This of course gives us a better understanding of what is needed and desired most in a complete police service dog. We use direct feedback from the police K-9 units in the field to better select and prepare our K-9 candidates for police service.
