Fish has been identified to be the cheapest source of animal protein. However, over the years the supply of fish has not met the world demand for it especially in Nigeria.

Fish farming is a fast-growing section in VARIETY INTEGRATED FISH FARM. Presently, we have 12 big earthen ponds containing about 100,000 fishes. At VARIETY INTEGRATED FISH FARM, we produce Catfish (Clarias gariepinus) and Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). The fish are fed exclusively on organic feeds produced in VARIETY INTEGRATED FISH FARM. Hence, we produce very high quality fish characterized by good taste, extended shelf life, and free from heavy metals.

The demand for our fish is very high, and as a result, requests are often made by buyers prior to harvesting. The fish is sold locally and in neighbouring towns such as Ughelli, Warri Asaba and Onitsha.
