Born to Track is about John and Jolanta Jeanneney's life with their hunting dachshunds bred and used for tracking wounded big game. We share our experiences through articles, photographs, books and blogs.

Born to Track is owned by John and Jolanta Jeanneney of Berne, NY. We have been breeding standard wirehaired dachshunds out of European hunting bloodlines since 1968. These "teckels" are bred and used for tracking wounded big game such as deer, bear, moose and elk. Our kennel name is "von Moosbach-Zuzelek". We are co-founders of Deer Search, North American Teckel Club and United Blood Trackers. We have authored and published two books "Tracking Dogs for Finding Wounded Deer" and "Dead On! Deer Anatomy and Shot Placement for Bow and Gun Hunters. Tracking Techniques for Wounded Whitetails. We share our experiences through articles, blogs and photography.
