Hi, my name is Kirsti and I am the owner/operator of Kay9 Kids.I am a qualified canine behaviorist and have worked with animals and specifically dogs for over 12 years.

I have worked with a large variety of dogs and their owners assisting with basic training / obedience to advanced work with operational search dogs.

I have 2 dogs who I regularly used to help train and socialise other dogs. Bonnie is a 12yr red heeler cross who travelled with me from South Africa. She is the reason I pursued a qualification in animal behaviour, She was quiet a handful from day one and still at the ripe old age of 12 knows how to make sure she runs the dog pack. Tommy is my 7yr old border collie x who went from pound pup to operational urban search and rescue dog. We are both now retired from USAR due to living in Whakatane, but he is still as active and enthusiastic as ever.
Both dogs are super friendly, and great communicators making them valuable additions to my training team.
