Certified Canine Behavior Specialist offering Canine Training and Boarding Services

Brandon Overbay completed his studies at Triple Crown Academy, now known as Starmark Animal Behavior Center. Brandon has been certified as a Behavior Specialist since 2006. Brandon not only trains Dogs, he trains Dog owners to understand what their Dog needs and most importantly how to communicate with their Dog to make their life much more enjoyable!

Services offered:

Brandon offers a "Stay and Train", where your Dog stays in his home environment for a 3 week period while learning basic obedience.

During this stay, your Dog will learn the following:

* Sit, Stay, Down, Down Place
* How to walk on a leash (and for those runners, how to run on a leash). In some cases a Dog may require more exercise than a person can give, and he is willing to teach them how to run on a treadmill, or ride beside a bicycle.

* Correcting Chewing/Biting
* Correcting Digging
* Potty Training
* Crate Training
* Correcting Jumping
* Correcting Barging Through Doors
* Keeping off Furniture
* Recall


Other Services Offered:

* Off leash training is available but not included with Basic Obedience.
* Private lessons for specific issues.
* Aggressive Dogs (evaluation required at no cost).
* Boarding

WHAT DOES IT COST ???

The "Stay and Train" 3 week program cost $700.00. This program usually books 60-90+ days out and a $100 deposit is required to reserve your spot spot. $300 is required the day of drop off, and the remaining $300 is due at pick up.

What is asked of you??

* Brandon ask for about an hour to two hours (as much time as you need) to visit half way through to learn what he is teaching your Dog so that you can follow through.
* Brandon also is very up front, if you do not plan on following through, then please don't waste your money. He will work with you as long as it takes for you to get the training down, but it is up to you to use the training once your Dog is back home.
* Typically 2 weeks is how long it takes for your Dog to learn basic obedience, depending on the Dog, Brandon uses the last week to ensure your dog is ready before sending them home. During the last visit, he will go over the 2nd part of training, and again, as long as it takes for you to understand it to utilize it.
* Brandon extends his offer to you after leaving the training program if problems occur. This happens from time to time as Dogs do revert back to their old ways. Most clients who have completed training understand Brandon's love for Dogs. They know when they leave their dog that they are happy, and in good hands.


* If you are interested in Private Lessons, you will need to contact Brandon to discuss the issues you are having in order to discuss a plan of action and the cost that it would entail. An average cost for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours offsite lesson is $95.00. An average cost for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours session onsite is $75.00. Other training options are available depending on how involved you would like to be in the training versus learning how to maintain the training. Its always best to contact Brandon to discuss what your needs/wants are to determine which type of training program would work best for you.

*Boarding cost are $25.00 per day and if picked up by noon there is no charge for that day. Pick up and drop off times Monday thru Saturday are from 9:00 AM - 6:30 ish PM. Sunday pick up and drop off times are from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM. Special needs dogs may require additional cost depending on the circumstance.

Requirements for your dog:

1) All shots must be up to date and records available.
2) Puppies MUST have all sets of shots.
3) Aggressive Dogs must be evaluated beforehand.
