While dedicated to addressing Mumbai's stray dog issues by sterilization,vaccination,feeding and adoption,NGCC also engages in training pets & pet owners.

At NGCC our mission is to have aware pet owners with well behaved pets. We strive to spread awareness in Mumbai to sterilize, feed, and vaccinate stray dogs, and promote the adoption of strays with our ultimate goal being the establishment of an animal shelter resulting in a stray-free city.

Niharika Gandhi, Founder of NGCC, having taken multiple courses with "Dog Whisperer" Cesar Millan, is determined awaken the compassion towards dogs in Mumbai. Currently, she feeds just under 100 stray dogs twice a day in her locality. Not only has she neutered and sterilized these strays and more in Mumbai, but she has also got several homed into their forever homes. Lastly, she has been able to use her skills an expertise from the Cesar Millan program to train not just dogs, but also their owners, and create a strong sense of understanding between the pet and the owner.

NGCC was created by Niharika to expand the activities mentioned above, in the least. NGCC's training program's ultimate purpose is to pave the way to a Training Center for dogs and owners, with a rehab clinic for problematic dogs and boarding and lodging for pets whose owners are traveling, a goal that NGCC strives towards every day.

NGCC's long term goal is to establish a connection with an ABC Center to set up an animal safe-haven to engage in sterilization and trauma treatment, and to shelter destitute and homeless animals.
