A little about me:
Having completed both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications in psychology and behavioural neuroscience at university, I began working in training dogs for assistance roles and doing animal assisted activities with at risk youth and fell in love with dog training and animal assisted therapy.

I then completed certificate level qualifications in dog training and behaviour and have been training for 10 years which has included training dogs for service roles at not-for-profit dog training centres, at vet practices for privately owned dogs doing private consults and group classes, and running my own independent dog training businesses.

I'm currently a PhD candidate doing research into the field of animal assisted therapy and am passionate about how positive interactions between us and our canine companions can be so beneficial to our health and theirs. I'm also driven to further research the most humane and effective training methods and to see better standards in the dog training industry.

But the true drive that keeps me doing all of this, my beautiful best friend that I wonder every day how I was lucky enough to get to call my baby - the stunning Lily, my 9 year old Golden Retriever, the best colleague and best mate on the planet xxx
