Comox Pet Sitting and Boarding began simply with a love for dogs. Dogs have always been in my life from Pooh my first small terrier arriving on my fourth birthday to Toby, our golden retriever chosen by my daughter three years ago with several other beloved dogs spanning the space of over fifty years. Working as a vet assistant has given me an insight into the mechanics of canine health.

My love for dogs is transferred back to the hound. When dogs come into my home whether for a day or a month, they seem to understand that, for the time they are under my watch, they belong to me and bond very quickly. Our daily walks are either to the wide open space of a low tide beach, or the miles of trails in the NE woods in the heart of Comox. An hour and a half walk makes for a tired dog. They quickly learn the piercing sound of my whistle means treats.

With a fully fenced back yard and a green way right behind there is plenty of opportunity for morning and evening walks along a meandering pathway. The dogs are happy, I am happy and Comox Pet Sitting and Boarding continues to provide a comfy couch in a cozy home.
