Working with instinct sheep herding

Jimmy’s Dog Training is proud is present Working with Instinct. A new program tailored to meet the needs of working dog breeds living in the city. Making sheepdog training and herding more accessible to the Geelong region.

Come along and learn the basics of herding in a relaxed environment. Our classes are aimed art beginners with no prior experience necessary.

Here at Working with Instinct, we believe working dog breeds need more than obedience and daily exercise to succeed. Too many dogs are surrendered to pounds because owners do not have an outlet like sheepdog training and herding. Working dog breeds often become under stimulated and at times destructive.

Megan Campbell and Hannah Mangan our instructors here at Working with Instinct both have a passion for working dog breeds and love the challenge that comes along with sheepdog training.

Classes provided will be based on the principles of instinct, leadership, obedience, strengthening the bond between you and your dog, and most importantly having fun.
