In 2016, Oh My Dog Training commenced. Oh My Dog Training's unique methodology is based on an owner-dog centred, holistic approach.
Humans and dogs alike respond to motivation, consistency, excellent communication, encouragement and rewards. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association the human–canine bond is influenced by emotional, psychological, and physical interactions that are essential to the health and well-being of both people and dogs.
All dogs are effectively trained through dog-friendly techniques and therefore become lifelong companions in a relationship based on mutual trust and respect. The Mission of Oh My Dog Training is to enhance the human-dog relationship by educating trainers, other animal professionals and the community, and advocating dog friendly training.
Oh My Dog Training’s staff are not only trained in canine behaviour and psychology based, dog-friendly methodology, their approach and continual training demonstrates their commitment to creating a happy and healthy environment for every dog.
