Eventing Bay of Plenty is based in Rotorua and run two horse trials an year, a spring trial in November and an autumn trial in February.

Eventing Bay of Plenty Incorporated is an affiliated member of the NZ Equestrian Federation. We run two horse trials a year, one in each of the spring and autumn seasons, at the Rotorua A & P Grounds and over Ngati Whakaue Tribal lands Ngongotaha farm. This is an ideal venue to showcase the sport, with excellent spectator viewing, as well as good competition areas for each of the three phases Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country.

The Bay of Plenty committee has brought together people of varying careers from farmers to policewoman that share the same passion of horses and putting on a great event. This combined with experienced organisation of the small but enthusiastic group, has resulted in the Bay of Plenty becoming a popular and much admired event attracting over 300 entries to both spring and autumn trials.
