Class Descriptions





OBEDIENCE CLASSES
PET DOG CLASS: 6.30pm A class for those dogs that have attended a puppy class or no obedience at all. Ages from 16 weeks up. The emphasis will be on manners for the pet dog. Sit, stay, walk on a loose lead, greet a stranger, on your mat and recalls.

BEYOND PET DOG: 6.30pm A class for those that have had some basic obedience training. This class will add on to the skills already learnt in Pet Dog Class. Exercises will be heel on lead, recalls, retrieves, stands, drops and stays. This course will alternate with Intro to Rally-O Classes throughout the year, please check out the calender on facebook or class times on the website for the next start date.


OBEDIENCE TRIAL CLASS 7.15pm
A class run every 5th week of the year, for handlers interested in competing in obedience, where you can put your dog through a complete mock obedience trial run. Sit, Drops, Stand for exam, and group sits and drops may be included depending on class numbers. Please register your interest with us in this night.

RALLY-O Definition
What is Rally-O – Rally O was created to promote a positive relationship between the dog and the handler and involves performing a variery of interesting warmup and freestyle exercises. The handlers proceeds around a course of designated stations with the dog in heel position. Stations involved varied tasks for you and your dog to undertake. It is a fun user friendly version of obedience that everyone can take part in.

INTRO TO RALLY-O – 6.30pm
Building on from Pet Dog and Beyond Pet Dog, a look into the world of Rally-O for newcomers. Combine your already learnt heel and control work with fun workstations. Handlers will be taught how to perform individual work stations from scratch so they can build confidence and strengthen the relationship with their dogs. This course will alternate with Beyond Pet Dog Classes throughout the year, please check out the calendar on facebook or class times on the website for the next start date.

RALLY – O COURSES – 7.15pm
For those dogs and handlers that are already experienced with obedience exercises and have worked through some of the individual stations in Intro to Rally-O and are looking for more challenge and to create a better bond with their dog. Rally is a fun varied approach to obedience, testing your skills over a variety of courses.



All breeds welcome, must be people and dog friendly.

$5 per class prepaid for 6 or 8 week course + Membership

Membership fees: Single $20 Couple $30
