Kind and effective dog and puppy training methods

My name is Victoria and I am the head instructor for Paws Perfect. I got my first dog when I was 8 years old and got the training bug then, whilst working with my mum on training Polo to be the best behaved dog in the world, well in an 8 years old mind anyway, even if she did get herself stuck in a cupboard on Christmas morning causing allot of hassle for my mum and the neighbours. Ever since then I have had at least one dog in my life. I was very lucky to become a foster for a Wales based rescue centre, for them I fostered over 200 dogs into finding their forever homes. They would come to me with all manner of problems from aggression issues, to confidence issues and general bad manners. This time really gave me a close insight to what makes dog tick, how they interact with one another and how this affects not only the dogs but the humans that are in their lives.
