I'm a Canine behaviour consultant, educated in Norway by Turid Rugaas and Anne-Lill Kvam and firmly believe in the philosophy of respecting our dogs, treating them with compassion, acknowledging the abilities of a dog's mind and understanding canine communication to help build a good relationship with our dogs. I follow well a researched scientific approach to understanding a dog's physiology and it's effect on the dogs behavior. My way of approaching a dog's training is a holistic approach that first works on ensuring that the dog is in good mental and physical health and then demystifying the communication between dogs and humans. In my experience a dog's mental and physical health are often overlooked by trainers and communication is grossly misunderstood. Through my approach, I hope to achieve a healthy, happy dog and a harmonious canine family

"Hundeskole" loosely translated means "Dog School" in Norwegian. Turid's school is called Hagan Hundeskole and Anne Lil Kvam's school is called Troll Hundeskole. Bangalore Hundeskole is my expression of my love for my own roots in Bangalore and of my appreciation to these wonderful Viking women, who hosted me, educated me, shared and laughed with me, giving me one of the most enriching experiences of my life.
