Our methods allow you to deepen the bond between you and your dog and create a relationship based on trust and respect. We understand that each person and each dog is unique and we strive to tailor our training to best suit the needs of you and your dog.
Our founder, Mike Hatjes, is a behaviorist with 35+ years of dog training experience. He pioneered in-home private training in the Bay Area in 1980. His extensive experience, lifelong love of dogs, creative problem solving skills and quick wit make him uniquely qualified to train dogs and also teach people. His main focus is to help you train your dog into a companion that you can take anywhere and everywhere.
He earned his degree in psychology from Arizona State University and went to graduate school at Indiana University.
We offer 3 basic in-home training packages and group classes. Our programs are carefully designed to teach you and your dog the basics (and beyond) of obedience and address any troubling behavior issues.
